Matthew Carruthers is a Senior Broker with West Coast Commercial Realty, bringing over two decades of commercial real estate experience to the Seattle market. Throughout his career, he has successfully completed over $250 million in transactions across multiple states and diverse product types.

Prior to joining WCCR, Matthew built his foundation in capital markets, underwriting, and investment strategy during tenures at Morgan Stanley, Marcus & Millichap, and Coldwell Banker NRT. In addition to his advisory role, Matthew actively manages his family’s commercial real estate portfolio. Operating as both a broker and a principal provides him with a practical, ownership-level perspective on asset optimization and the core drivers of long-term value creation.

Raised in the Bay Area, Matthew earned his degree from Babson College and completed advanced international studies at Bocconi University in Milan. He currently resides in Seattle’s Madison Park neighborhood. Outside the office, he is an avid sports fan, live music enthusiast, and frequent traveler.
